John Bennett Executed At Ohio Penitentiary For Oberlin Murder
John Bennett was executed by electric chair at the Ohio penitentiary after pleading repentance. The Cincinnati man murdered his wife in Oberlin after years of abuse and attempted to poison her before dragging her to a brick fatal blow. His last hours included prayers with family and fellow inmates and a final collection to send his body to Maysville Kentucky for burial.
