Josiah B. Lang a pioneer resident of Lorain County died Sunday at his son's home in Cleveland. Born in 1824 he moved with his parents to Humberton early, married Lorena M. Chapman in ibt b, and had four children Renal M. W. Lang G. H. Lang and Mrs. E. A Caldwell. He lived in Wellington from 1866 to 1888 and later with his son in Cleveland. His wife married died in 1898. Lang was known for his sterling character and trusted in many posts.

Auntie Ferguson Dies Sudden in Lorain
Auntie Ferguson an elderly long resident of the county died in Lorain on Saturday after being found in her chair. A colored woman she lived alone in a small hut near the blast furnaces on land held by the steel trust. Tom L Johnson and A J Moxham promised her she could remain. She was born in 1823 near Appomattox and moved to Ohio in 1854 before settling in Lorain. She left twelve children, three alive, death from a hemorrhage. Rev J H Love to conduct funeral services.
