A Central Vermont passenger train from Springfield to Montreal derailed near Woodstock Vermont after crossing a bridge, plunging two sleepers and two coaches into the 60 foot gap. Dozens killed or injured. engineer and conductor among the dead. Debris, fire, and rescues dominate the scene as authorities list victims and preserve wreckage.
A massive Halifax drill shed crowd of Liberals and Conservatives on February 7 caused the meeting to overflow after doors opened.
