Train on Deep Creek line robbed early morning
Three highwaymen held up a Deep Creek railroad train near Wendover fifteen miles from Wendover in Elko county. They robbed the mail and express cars and passengers of money and valuables, injuring one man, Kas Barbery, who was shot in the leg. The robbers escaped on foot, with possible cavalry of a hidden automobile or horses.
