German spy Swoboda held over La Touraine fire

Paris March 31 Raymond Swoboda accused German spy was arrested charged with setting the La Touraine ablaze while at sea three weeks earlier. The ship carried ammunition and 300 passengers from a Canadian port on March 3. Fire erupted off Ireland, threatening lives for nearly two days but the vessel reached a French port safely. Swoboda denies involvement and says he is American.
