Destructive Fire Destroys Carlin Home and Burned Mrs Lane
A morning telegraph from Constable Kappler reports a fire at Mrs D G Moreheart’s residence in Carlin last night. Mrs Lane, resident for years and mother of Mrs Moreheart, was severely burned while trying to smother the flames. The house and contents valued at 3500 to 4000 dollars were destroyed with no insurance. Mrs Lane’s condition is grave. she had been visiting the exposition and had a daughter in San Francisco.
