In Detroit on April 21 G M McGregor announces a sweeping wage hike and shortened hours for Ford Motor Company of Canada. Minimum pay for six month plus workers rises to 50 cents an hour or four dollars daily, eight hour days or 48 hour weeks. About 2400 employees at Ford Ontario plant and nine branches will share the raise, estimated at 600000 dollars yearly, with increases of 15 to 60 percent across the board.

John Yore sold the property for 25000 to the Alaska Improvement company, funded by ore near the surface.
