Elko Man Alexander Hay Killed in Truck Accident
Alexander Hay a 41 year old Elko resident died after a heavy truck ran over him on the Tuscarora road near Eight Mile Spring. The accident occurred as companions Felix Plaza and Manuel Aguirre traveled home from a north trip. Hay spoke of no lights on the truck and was found dead with a broken back after the vehicle passed over him. An inquest will be held by Judge Doughty. He was a native of Scotland and leaves a mother, sister and brother in Elko, plus a widow and three daughters. Funeral services are set for tomorrow at the Presbyterian church with Swander officiating.
