Indianapolis September 24 County option supporters won a narrow 51 to 49 victory in the Indiana House to postpone indefinitely the county option bill. The second reading is set for Friday with party line votes marking the debate.
Columbus Sept. 24 Bryan urges Gov Haskell to prove he is not linked to Standard Oil or be removed from campaign. He may drop Taft and oppose Roosevelt, arguing the people should name the next president, not Roosevelt.
