Beatrice Nebraska October 1 Tafts second day in Bryan state drew large crowds at stations along the route. Taft told supporters that a return to democratic rule would end the current prosperity and good times. 218 Ra Bryan takes a rest and commoner at Fairview celebrates his wedding anniversary as campaigning resumes Monday.
Lincoln Nebraska October 1 Bryan today quietly observes the twenty fourth anniversary of his marriage at Fair view. He returns from his third trip and will rest until Monday when he leaves on a trip through Tiliais Kansas Missouri and Nebraska.
New York January 1 chairman Mack charged Roosevelt failed to answer Bryan’s last letter and that Republican leaders have called Roosevelt off. Mack asserted the party’s wise men dictate the delay and opposition stance amid the letter dispute.
Chairman Hitchcock is summoned to Washington to confer with President Roosevelt on the republican situation.
Mrs. C. H. Ormsby of Benton Harbor was located after weeks of police searches. She claimed she forgot her name and had intended to visit her daughter in South Bend. A postal letter from Hammond Ind revealed her address, and Mr. Ormsby escorted her home.
