Railroaders Plead Guilty After South Main Street Incident

Burglars broke into Richard Turnock & Sons hardware on Mai Street last night stealing $4.15 from the cash register and a dollar’s worth of stamps plus razors and other small items. Entry was through a basement window, with thieves familiar with the premises. They also pried a door open and moved a display case on the larger safe. Turnock, returning from the Knights Templar conclave, felt a premonition but did not investigate before leaving with his wife.
