Mrs. M. M. Lusher, hostess of the Hotel Columbia, stepped on a parlor match causing a rapid fire on her inflammable dress. Three men in the office extinguished the flames by keeping her still, saving her face. She had slight burns and was treated for the shock and hysteria, improving by Monday.
