Witch Party Delights Elkhart Guests At Hill Home
In Elkhart Indiana a witch party hosted by Miss Mary Dee Hill drew nearly a hundred young people with elaborate costumes and decorations. Guests arrived in black gowns and peaked caps, mingled amid skulls dragons and cauldrons, and later revealed partners by colored ribbon before dancing and socializing.

Diphtheria Claims Six Year Old Vera Myers in Osolo Township
Vera Myers six and a half year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Amos L Myers of Osolo township died last night from diphtheria and scarlet fever. Interment was at Grace Lawn cemetery this afternoon. She was eldest of four children all affected this past week. three surviving youngsters are improving. The Myers family receives community sympathy in their loss.
