John Rabb thirty one and his brother Nicholas twenty two were killed in an Elkhart Mishawaka bound accident near Englewood Chicago yards. John left a wife and five children and was a Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen member with four thousand dollars insurance. Nicholas had been braking for four months and lived with his parents in Mishawaka.

A longtime Elkhart resident since 1831, she married William Proctor in 1859 and is survived by three children C. W. Proctor M. L. Proctor and Mrs. Cornelius E. Crowley.
