James H. Blaine of Goshen died after taking morphine in his room at the home of George W. Rule on South Third street. Born June 4, 1851, Blaine was a longtime bookkeeper and later a traveler for lumber firms. He left a note for his sister Margaret Korady and others, detailing debts and instructing insurance funds to settle them. Funeral set for tomorrow at two from Frank Miller’s residence with Masons Knights of Pythias and Royal Arcanum in attendance. interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Goshen.
