Oscar C. Trahl, a well known Elkhart youth, was arrested by Officer Miller on larceny charges for taking items from Krienke's store on South Main street during an auction. After a house search, missing goods and additional plunder were found. He pled guilty to petit larceny before Judge Blake and received thirty days in jail and a $5 fine plus costs.
