The Benson, largest Pacific coast merchant ship, features a 50 000-person power supply, 25 miles of armored cable, and a crew of about 5 000 served in under two hours. It has cooked over 2 million meals this year, produced 50 000 pills and hundreds of medical procedures, and would stretch into a 20 mile long train if moved by rail.
