Ground to Pieces reports Jay Baker six-year-old son of Otto and Magnolia township residents, killed instantly by an Omaha road freight locomotive near Laverne Minnesota. The child, riding a tricycle with his mother crossing the tracks, was crushed as the engine and entire train passed over him. The mother narrowly avoided tragedy, crossing moments before.
St Paul reports Dr Ancker returning from Chicago with Lennie Schafer who was bitten by the same rabid dog linked to previous child deaths.
