Louis F Becker born March 22 1896 in Elgin Iowa died September 20 1967 at his daughter's home in Waterloo age 71. He married Estella Peters on December 24 1924 and had five children Alice Cecil Schreeder Waterloo Charles Clermont Marylou Downey Grundy Center Louis Elgin Judy Mankato Minnesota. He graduated Elgin High School 1914 and worked until retirement in 1961. He belonged to St Paul Methodist Church and served in the local fire department and ASC board committee. Survived by wife and five children and 12 grandchildren a brother Clarence of Elgin and many relatives. Services were held October 3 1967 at St Paul Methodist Church with Rev Lee Roy Collins officiating. Casket bearers Virgil Miles Virgil Torson Herbert Ash Randy Reierson Kenneth Mark Charlie ONeill Arden Greener Edward Klingaman Clarence Schori John Tillotson sang with Mrs Laurence Knudtson at piano. Burial at Elgin Cemetery.
