Remains of Hans Christen Brought Home for Burial
The body of Hans Christen arrived Tuesday from Spokane Washington where he died on Monday October 11 1909. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Apostolic church with a large attendance. Also noted is the sixty first wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs John Weaver of Elgin and other local couples reaching sixty years of marriage. Mrs Arnold Bauman died Monday night at her country home aged 49, after six weeks of illness. Personal items mention Harry Hadsel visiting Elgin and Lavena Millers fifteenth birthday surprise with gifts.
