Elgin Couple Wed In Candlelit Elgin Methodist Ceremony

Miss Ruth Marie Tillotson and Richard Dale Hiatt united in marriage at the Elgin Methodist Church on October 2 in a candle lit double ring ceremony. The Rev. E G Steinman officiated before white candelabra and baskets of chrysanthemum blooms. The couple planned a Chicago bound wedding trip with a New York City stop, courtesy of American Airlines, the bride employed there.

David Meyer son of Mr and Mrs Elmer Meyer returned home Saturday afternoon from Palmer Memorial hospital West Union Hospitalized Ludwig Ander son was injured Saturday while working at the Roy Leuchten macher farm He was taken to the Postville hospital where he remained for several days Home from Hospital Mrs Eugene Schori returned home Tuesday from Rochester Minn She had been a patient at Worrell hospital the past four weeks She went back to Postville this Wednesday morning for a few days In Hospital Mrs Theodore Hanson of Quincy Ill had been at the Blessing hospital there for a week having tests and x rays.
