Keith Thoma’s twelfth birthday was celebrated at a Sunday dinner hosted by Mrs. Max Thoma. guests included Ernestine Holzer and several others. George Pollitt spent Sunday with relatives in Cresco. Agnes Crowe will spend Thanksgiving in Cedar Rapids with sisters. John Folb and H. W. Fal families were guests at Roy Smith’s Elkader home. Mrs. William La Velle of Postville visited her daughter in town. Nell Schart left for Cedar Rapids to care for her aunt, while the aunt, Mrs. Frank Wells, returned from Albert Lea hospital stay.
