Social Hour Club Hosts Thanksgiving Themed Meeting

Mrs Earl Kiple presided as hostess with Mrs Glen Little assisting for the Social Hour Club on Wednesday afternoon. Eighteen members attended, sharing a cooking hint for Thanksgiving, with Mrs Harry Gilson performing a solo and reading a poem. A large group of North Marion boys and girls and their parents met October 12 at the Almer Amundson home. Richard Warren and Evelyn Thiele presented 4-H work. Boys officers elected: David Helgers on, David Lamborn, Roger Berg, Paul Hanson, Norman Amundson, with Almer Amundson asst leader. Regular meeting time set for 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday each month.

Marion Busy Bees November meeting notes

The Marion Busy Bees met November 2 at the home of Carol and Sharon Schup bach. A rally poem on color opened the meeting as members received materials for the 4-H year. Officers duties and parliamentary rules were reviewed. goals for the year were outlined.
