School Carnival A Success At Local Gym
A large crowd attended the school carnival last Friday evening in the gym with Halloween decor. The event featured a Hall of Horrors on the north balcony, the Red Lantern Inn on the second floor, performances by first graders and a gypsy group of 7th and 8th graders, and magic acts by two students. Mrs. Wm. B. Miller won the carnival cake, James Ostlie and Margaret Crowe judged penny guesses, and the program included songs, dances, and a Swede tale about local settlers. Everyone enjoyed the evening and looks forward to next year.
