Local notes from Elgin and nearby towns mixed in scrapbook style
A collage of brief items recounts visits and travels of residents like Hans Kelser and Irvin Etter, furniture and hardware ads, upcoming lawn care and paint stock at Pete Hardware, and scattered family news from Elgin, Decorah, and surrounding areas. Casual social calls, church and school notices, and local commerce blur together with references to livestock, silos, and bowling in La Crosse.
