Road graveling east from the creamery commenced with farmer help and town men aiding. Clifton Bailey near Arlington brought Mrs Eliza Hadd to Elgin for a visit with Ed Klingman. The Baumd Baldwin party journeyed to Strawberry Point for Clara Mae Baldwin who finished school there. Mrs Harry Baldwin and daughter joined them. Walt Dummermuth bought a refrigerated meat counter shipping this week and plans quick installation to improve his store.
