Jesus Answers Adversaries in Sunday School Lesson
The May 21 lesson from International Uniform Lessons centers on Jesus, facing Pharisees, Sadducees, scribes, and a crowd. It emphasizes Christ’s deep Scriptural knowledge, His refusal to be trapped by questions, and the practical aim of directing skeptics to daily religious obedience rather than theology. Jesus answers the tribute question by Caesar’s inscription, urging giving to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.
