West Clermont ALCW General Meeting At Church
The West Clermont Lutheran ALCW held a midweek general meeting at the church with Naomi Circle members and several named hostesses. Pastor Roger Peterson led devotions from Deuteronomy 31 27 and anniversary plans were announced for July 1. Delegates to the second district triannual convention were elected for Luther College June 8 and 9. Various members contributed to preparations for the Decorah conference convention and reports were read by delegates. A program titled The Family was presented, followed by a skit Over the Coffee. The gathering closed with prayers and a picnic dinner honoring Mothers Day, with guests from Hudson Monona and Elgin.

Tre Ore Club Meets at Amundson Home
The Tre Ore Junior Study Club met their final meeting of the year on May 3 at Mrs Kenneth Amundson s home with 17 members present. Mrs Willet Miller county chairman was a guest. devotions were read by Mrs Donald Cowell. A food basket was circulated to raise funds. The club voted to donate 5 to the Dine Teague pagepell Fund. Members expressed thanks for coopera tion and gifts to Mrs John Gass and Mrs Sylvan Taylor. The program on fiber glass with slides followed the federation news item read by Mrs Leland Probert. Lunch was served by the hostess.
