Robbed of 1600 Dollars Worth of Produce
Vic Perry, hijacked entering Chicago with a truckload of eggs, returned to St Lucas Friday. The truck was recovered but the hijackers were freed and the $1600 of produce unrecovered. Perry followed his attorney’s advice and left Chicago alive. Earlier hijackings between Maywood and Lombard suggest an organized band. Vic plans to continue trucking with police protection from Elgin into Chicago.
