Miss Eva Mae Frieden wed Lieut. Richard E. Melson in a March Sunday ceremony at the local Methodist church. The altar featured ferns and nine-taper candelabras. music included Nuptial selections and Lohengrin procession. Attendants wore Marquisette. reception followed at Clermont. Mrs. Melson wore aqua gabardine departing in orchid corsage. she is a former Iowa State attendee.
