George E. Stansbury, 73, Sioux City, died Feb 23 after a month illness. Born May 6, 1876 in Elgin, he farmed near here before moving to Sioux City 23 years ago. He married Lucinda Howard Sept 1, 1897, at West Union. Survived by widow, three sons Ezra Leo Ralph, all of Sioux City, four daughters Pearl Matthys Iva Holm Evelyn Bartlett Emily Whitlock. brother Roy and sister Hazel Eppstein, both of Sioux City. A son George Ka died in 1934. Funeral services were held Saturday with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Former Decorah resident Mrs Ingémor Hilberg dies at 40 after months of illness at her Degorsh area home. Funeral services were held at Stiene funeral home and Decorah Lutheran church. Born Clara Randine Erickson on July 11 1889 in Highland township Clayton County she moved to Winneshiek County 35 years ago and married Ingemar Hilberg on November 24 1920. Surviving husband four sons and daughters five siblings and four grandsons are listed. she was a member of Decorah Lutheran Church.
