Dexter Messenger warns that forcible mortgage foreclosure prevention could erode real estate security values and hinder future loan access for owners. The piece notes potential nationwide impact if farm land values fall and questions long term effects on credit. It also cites Confucius on a gentleman, a jail wood pile anecdote about tramps, and a maxim about serving one’s organization.
