Mrs Yearous longtime Illyria resident dies at 72
Mrs Yearous of IllyriaLaid to rest after ill health. She attended Elgin Public School graduating in 1907 then taught in rural Elgin schools for three years. She married Jerome Yearous on June 29 1910 and lived in Highland Township ever since. Active in the Illyria Ladies Aid Society Cemetery Association and Illyria Community Church since May 20 1958 baptism. She died at Decorah Hospital on June 14 aged 72 years 5 months 22 days. Survived by her husband sister Ellen Hunsberger of Higgins and brother Mervin of Elgin plus many nieces and nephews. Burial in Illyria Cemetery with pallbearers Raymond Benson Delbert Chapman William Minihan Stanley Moser Gordon Pollock Glenn Yearous.
