Shielded copper cabinets guard radio selectivity future
Robert F Gowen of the Institute of Tradio Engineers outlines how copper shielding reduces inter stage feedback and preserves selectivity as receiver sensitivity rises. He notes that multiple RF stages worsen selectivity unless interstage coupling is blocked by shielding. The survey predicts widespread use of shielded copper cabinets and simplified, efficient power supplies to prevent broadcasts from overpowering nearby stations.
