Mr and Mrs Lawrence Guyer entertained on May 27 in honor of their son James who was confirmed at West Clermont Lutheran Church. Miss Arthel Blockhus and Clea Rodberg from New Hampton visited Sunday with Miss Andine Vasby. Mrs Francis Bading and Mark and Pamela Medberry of Cedar Rapids called on Mrs Bading’s parents the Gilberts Monday. Pam Medberry plans a visit with her Gilbert grandparents this week. Wednesday evening guests in the Norris Reierson home included James Martin and sons Steven and Gordon from Prinville Oregon, Wayne Amundson, and Larry and Oscar Lien. The Queer Hansen family of Durant are fishing at Red Lake Ontario. Mr and Mrs Millard Nelson Sr of Muscatine and Mrs Nelson’s sister Ivy Buck of Hawkeye visited Clermont Monday. They were dinner guests of Mrs Isabelle Nelson. Merle Anderson and Eric attended a wiener roast at Harry Miller home in West Union Wednesday evening honoring Rev and Mrs Richard Krell and family.
