Fire house complete under M W Kiple contract. Station agent Wertz hears Rock Island to cut two afternoon trains, reducing daily trains to two. On June 2 at Highland Lutheran Church two daughters of Mr and Mrs B M Benaon were married. Josephine wed Moellerman of Law Corpelia Voretson. Eighth grade graduates Lydia and Elmer Reitz to receive diplomas from rural district.
