Frieda Larieene Martens died at University Hospital Iowa City on June 30 1962. Born October 13 1901 in Winneshiek County she lived most of her life near Clermont and died at age 60. She married Henry Albert Martens on February 22 1921 in Cresco and is survived by her husband and sister Carrie Green. Funeral services were July 2 at Schutte Funeral Home Postville with burial in Postville Cemetery.
