Council Proceedings Elgin Iowa June 8 1850 Summary
The Town Council of Vigin Iowa met in regular session at the Town Hall. Present were Mayor George H. Falk and councilors Boyle Dean Muehlcheler ONeill and Schori Aberni. Minutes approved. Audits approved for wages, street work, supplies and fuel. Beer and cigarette permits granted to Bohori Wenger and others. A waterworks bond resolution of 5000 was adopted. Ordinance 18 on sanitary upkeep and outdoor toilets passed after suspension of rules. Meeting adjourned. R E Kobler, Town Clerk.
