He asks removal of F J Moers New Hampton from the board and voiding of secretary George A Brown Des Moines. Noble lists 79 ballots for himself versus 75 for Moore and calls for Brown to be restrained, five years of books audited, and funds due Brown accounted for. The association runs Iowa high school athletic contests.
Anna Barbara Kamm was named winner in the local competition of senior high school girls for the D A R pilgrimage to Washington, D C by county superintendent L G Meyer this week. Her application and recommendations were sent to state superintendent Agnes Samuelson and her fate lies with a Des Moines committee of D A R members. Other competitors were Betty Ann Finch Helen Brink and Rowena Kutschat.
Kathryn Biranch was sick Thursday and Friday and unable to work. Bill asked about pressing a task for his aunt. Eddie replied okay. Hans Keiser’s condition remained the same early this week, still in bed under nurse and doctor care. G. J. Mosby and Leo Sehori took Samuel Mosby to Independence last Thursday night to visit Mrs. G. V. Zimmmertin in the hospital after an operation. Mosby was delayed twenty four hours and remained in Waterloo due to weather, expected home early in the week.
