Fragmentary letters reveal a fatal train incident discussion

References include West Cler, Mrs Flanagan and Mrs Murphy, and a maintenance superintendent nicknamed Doc. The fragmentary text hints at a conflict over the circumstances of the death and comfort offered to the bereaved.
