Mrs Simek Rites Held at Strawberry Point Church
General services were held Saturday at St Marys Catholic Church in Strawberry Point for Mrs Barbara Simek 85 who died Wednesday evening. Rev P J Boyle led the requiem mass and burial took place in St Albert cemetery. Born Barbara Cicha in Bohemia Feb 10 1851 she came to the U S in 1880 with husband John Simek who died in 1925. They lived on a farm southeast of Strawberry Point for 55 years. Eight children eightte en grandchildren and one great grandchild survive.
