Sealed proposals for erection and completion of a new Clermont Iowa High School will be received by the Clermont Elgin Consolidated School District at 2:00 PM January 12, 1936. Bids on general construction plumbing heating and ventilating and electric wiring are to be delivered to the Secretary in sealed envelopes. Court House Custodian Dies at Fayette County Courthouse
John Kappel aged 67 and longtime custodian of the Fayette county courthouse died Saturday afternoon from a heart attack while placing new license plates on his car. He is survived by his widow, a brother and a sister.
