Pleasant Point Club News and Christmas activities
The Pleasant Point Study Club met at Mrs. Amelia Strong’s home in West Union with 13 members and 3 guests. They planned dinners, secret pals, and a Christmas gift exchange. A December meeting at the Feller home featured a picnic lunch, a Christmas tree, and plans for next year. Henry Feller hosted a party packing 51 boxes for families and shut-ins. The Elgin post office reports its biggest day to date on December 17, handling over 10 000 pieces of mail.
