Soldiers Return From Alaska On 30 Day Leave
In Service Home from Alaska Henry B Nelson B UV 3 and Milton Nelson CN arrived Tuesday from Adak on a 30 day leave. They have been stationed with the M C B Construction Battalion in Alaska for eight months and after leave will go to Port Hueneme California for construction work until April. Henry will be joined by his fiancée Marilyn Meyer for their December 16 wedding. Clarence Ruckdaschel and Marie arrived home from Rantoul Air Force Base where Clarence was discharged. They will visit relatives and later farm on the Miller farm now tenanted by the Clifton Miller family.

Attendants and guests reported rose white decor and a 125 guest reception in the parish parlors followed by a light blue going away outfit for the bride. The couple plans to reside in Olympia Washington.

The group attended the National Farm Bureau convention in Miami, Florida from Monday to Wednesday and will tour other Florida cities.
