Christmas Plants In Bloom At Elgin Furniture Store
A nostalgic local column lists numerous visitors and neighbors calling on residents around Elgin and surrounding towns. It notes holiday plant displays at Elgin Furniture Store and reports community events, dinners, and greetings, with many Black Friday style get togethers and travel to Florida for winter. Names include Schori, Whitford, Gilson, Reusser, Juhl, Blockhus, Moore, Lang, Speece, Becker, Mark, Gehring, and Pulfer among others. The block also thanks the fire department for a December incident.
