Louis E Benson son of Nichols and Mary Benson born January 9 1889 on Gunderson farm north of Clermont died November 28 at Knoxville Veterans Hospital at age 78. Baptized East Clermont Lutheran infant. educated in Clermont public and Union Antes school. Married in Elkader to Rose Bellis in 1913, two daughters Lorraine Brainard Janesville Wisconsin and Mrs Louis Rose wide and two sons Louis Laverne LaPlata Calif and William Lyle. Survived by four children four sisters Mrs Claude Gresa Mrs Clara Gress of Clermont Mrs Mayzne Wiser of Cedar and Mrs Alma Demory of Bodified 29, two great grandchildren, nephews and many relatives.
