Seth Clark Injured by Corn Shredder Near Elkader
Seth Clark of near Elkader lost his right hand thumb and three fingers in a corn shredder accident on his farm last Friday morning. His hand was drawn into the shredder, diagonally cutting the thumb and all but the little finger. He was taken first to a local hospital for surgical care and later to the George Teake home to recover from the injury and shock.
