Janice Kamp, a senior daughter of Bi and Mrs Duane Kamp, was honored at the annual awards ceremony. The event recognized outstanding achievement in community service and education, highlighting Kamp's role in the program and her continued contributions.

Father Thomas F. Currier pastor of Saint Peter's Church reported to the Army Chaplain School at Fort Hamilton Brooklyn New York on Sunday August 16 under orders from XIV United States Army Corps Headquarters in Minneapolis. The tour of duty will be Phase IV of the Chaplain Career Course to keep Reserve Chaplains ready for extended emergency active duty or national crises. Father Paul Kirchoff will lead Saint Peter's Church during Currier's absence.
Saint Peter's Parish students will attend DeSales Central High School, a consolidated district serving six parishes. The opening on Monday August 31 includes plans for science facility improvements and a shared junior high program, with bus transportation provided.
