Old Timer Theme Lost in Nostalgic Town Reunion Verse
A folk voice recalls a hometown reunion in a shaded gathering reminiscing about 1872 era friends and kin. The speaker notes the excitement of kith and kin returning, old-time chatter, and the contrast with modern life as valley memories surface. The poem wryly imagines a tin type snapshot and shared stories among old friends.
