Parochial School Planned For Sacred Heart and St Joseph
Margaret Frank and Agnes Leahy offer 30000 dollars as an initial fund for a parochial school serving Sacred Heart in Volga and St. Joseph in Wadena. About 95 grade school children exist in the two parishes with surrounding townships, and the plan aims to ease crowded Volga and other local schools by building a single plant accessible to both churches. The project is reviewed by Archdiocesan officials and pastors, with Rev Francis Bradshaw cited as pastor.

McMurry, safety commissioner, urged cutting corn just above car tops for 100 feet back from road junctions. Most crash victims live within two to three miles of the accident site, so cutting corn protects nearby residents.
